Spiritual growth at Holy Cross? |
Master of Divinity by different tracks… Track One: in residence The primary and preferred track is the traditional three years of seminary training, in residence at Columbus, Georgia, taking classes at Beacon University and fulfilling the Holy Cross requirements for the diploma in Anglican Studies. Track Two: in combination Many seminarians find it difficult to contemplate undertaking three years of residential study. For these seminarians, with approval of their bishop, the Master of Divinity program from Beacon University can be begun by distance learning and completed by coming to Columbus for some time in residence —perhaps one or two years, perhaps a few weeks at a time, perhaps even weekends for intensive courses. These students may fulfill the Holy Cross requirements for the diploma or the certificate in Anglican Studies. Track Three: at a distance For those who find residence in Columbus impossible, Beacon offers its Master of Divinity program 100% by distance learning. With approval of their bishop, these seminarians may fulfill the Holy Cross requirements for the certificate in Anglican Studies, or for the diploma in Anglican Studies if they participate in a Holy Cross approved venue for formation.
