Spiritual Growth

The primary means of formation for Anglican seminarians is, of course, Daily Office and Eucharist.  In addition, Holy Cross provides colloquia designed to offer focused study in the Anglican tradition and practical training for leadership in the Anglican Church.

The St Thomas More Program for Spiritual Growth offers a variety of groups, retreats and conferences intended to support seminarians' spiritual formation and to help them prepare to offer spiritual leadership and guidance in the ministries to which they are called. While all seminarians at Holy Cross are urged to take part in all aspects of the program, participation in at least two groups is required for the Diploma in Anglican Studies, and at least one group for the Certificate in Anglican Studies.

All seminarians are expected to have a spiritual director throughout their entire seminary experience.
